Remember when Facebook stole the Stories idea from Snapchat? Social media platforms & apps are learning what users like across mediums to implement it in their own ways. We see this time and time again & now with the introduction of reactions on LinkedIn.
LinkedIn’s official announcement stated that regular feedback from users included wanting more ways to respond to posts, and regular feedback from posters included wanting to understand why someone liked that post. As a result, LinkedIn rolled out a variety of reactions for users to engage with content such as like celebrate, love, insightful, and curious.
These new ways of responding will allow for users to quickly and constructively communicate with one another, and the options align with the type of conversations users are having on the platform. As a result, users may spend an increased amount of time engaging on the platform and posts may see a higher volume of engagement, making LinkedIn a more attractive platform option for brands in the future.
What do you think?! Will you start to use these reactions on LinkedIn??
